Pictured is the front cover of The All Ireland Senior Hurling Final of 1938 - 

Waterford's first ever All Ireland Senior final! The final was won by Dublin who beat Waterford 2-5 to 1-6!  At half time it was Dublin 2-3, Waterford 1-3 with defences very much on top.  Right half back that day on the Waterford team was our own Willie (Doyle )Walsh, then playing with Portlaw!
